second chances

Ted Williams, the great baseball player known as the Splendid Splinter, is cryogenically frozen in liquid nitrogen in a facility in Scottsdale.

Williams signed up for the treatment in 2000, and was iced up a couple of years later when he died at 83.

My suggestion to citizen-viewers interested in emulating the old splinter: Get into the nitrogen earlier! You don’t want to come back as an 83-year old who’s already stepped through death’s door once. That’s no way to enjoy the future robot wars.
