DSM: The VP debate - conclusions

Palin won if this was a test of her ability to not have a crackup.

Biden won on every other measure. Palin said some stuff that will be fodder for pundits: Fourth branch. Repeating McCain zombie lies on Obama. Afghanistan error. Evading questions.

This will be stop some Republican bleeding, but unlike the GOP convention the swing voters aren’t buying. Race stays where it is. The other problem for them is that this is another day about Palin and McCain, not about their hate for Obama. Every day that the attack is off Obama helps Obama.
