DSM: Convention reaction

Got through W. The best of it was having him on the jumbotron. The visual of his absence said it all. Nice comparison of the “angry left” to the NV prison guards. Anger is the Republican oxygen.

Now watching Freddie. He started out like a zombie with a teleprompter. He got a more animated by telling torture tales of McCain’s POW captivity. That was pretty dry stuff still, as the audience doesn’t really like McCain and even this crowd couldn’t block out the torture-bad/torture-good paradox, but now he’s fired up attacking Obama. At ease finally with the right’s playbook. High taxes, unpatriotic, America-hating liberals. See above on anger as GOP oxygen.

Biggest applause line yet on pro-life stuff. Preach the faith Fred! Make the contrast, define the differences. Don’t let us forget you’re Republicans.
