DSM on America's melanoma

Now: Big John. Watching with my gal pals. They are only marginally interested and I’ve got to be sociable during this so it might not be as white hot as my earlier posts.

My female fellow viewers have speculated on how much botox Cindy has had injected. They say it’s been consistent, every 6 weeks as required. I would never stoop to this kind of sexist commentary.

I for one, am proud that McCain got Farrah Fawcett to marry him. He should, however, have nominated Bosley as VP.

The women here are getting quite irked by the motherhood bullshit, “like that’s the main thing a woman needs to do.” I think she’s losing the real Hillary vote.

Mother Theresa captured my heart. Ye Gods! Well, good for you Cindy, nice job too belittling the adopted daughter as the family charity case. “Colonialism” say my colleagues.

Sweet Jeebus she’s going on. The Sausage man has had enough. He’s going to drown his sorrows and check back in a few. …

A dude has shown up in the viewing party. S is flippant and making comments about Sarah Palin having had 4.5 children, and feeling bad about the dweeb that knocked up Bristol Palin. Bad man.

McCain is going to walk the catwalk, says Wolfie Blitzer.

Ahh, the McCain wank, the movie, son holy ghost, and the father. [Kudos to my friend S. for these remarks.]

Some call him a puffy-headed bullfrog. And he’s a momma’s boy, more motherhood.

One of my co-viewers remarks on how Hitler really played up the motherhood and Nazi angle, too.

What happened to that “love for America?”

S notes that a plus for the McCain women was that the men were gone for most of the time and the checks kept showing up.

McCain survived a bunch of screwups, what a guy. John M’s torture, thank god we’ve learned!

S, with stunning insight, notes that Cindy plus Sarah plus some steam and water is John MCCain’s shower fantasy.

Here he comes, Frank Sinatra meets Godzilla. Love the spotlight.

He made it to the end of the catwalk. Sadly, McCain is not too sexy for his shirt.

Someone is tearing up in the audience. She also cried during last episode of Alf.

S says McCain is the one most enjoyable to have dinner with among Repubs. Dinner w/Fred Thomspon would have to start at 4. With JM you could back it up all the way to 5.

They stuck with the green screen.

Whoa! CNN pans a “McCain hates vets sign” Treason. How did they get in there?

The USA chant. Save it for the dimwit Olympics.

Cindy, I’m indebted to her. He loves his family. That’s quite nice. Thank you S. “She’s the inspiration, he’s the perspiration.”

She’ll make a great first lady. “She’ll never age a minute,” says another commenter.

S: “McCain’s mom looked the same at Pearl Harbor.”

JM: “I won’t let you down,” anymore than I already have.

Now on Obama, has his respect and admiration, no applause, nothing. We are fellow Americans, some cheers.

After we’ve run we’ll reach out. Lackluster audience response. The hall hates this. Protester interrupts speech and the crowd goes USA on it. McCain advises calm. Well done, big John. Was it a plant? Helps McCain look calm and cool.

“OK”

S: “Why do you engage with this speech. There’s nothing to be decided, this is just platitudes.” You’re right, but Sausage is paid to blog so he keeps it coming.

Singing Palin’s praises. The nonpartisan theme.

So it looks like were going for the middle-of-the-roader guy. Great, too late and never going to work. Bashing the Dems is the only way these guys can win.

“Warshington.” Like some sad-case whites like to pretend to speak with black accents, Republicans like to pretend to speak like poor white people.

Will McCain actually offer some kind of plans? He will change Washington, has backbone. He’s nonpartisan guy — after last night’s hate fest. This is a nice fantasy I wish all of our politicians were like Jimmy Stewart (who btw was a Republican, so I don’t really wish that.)

Of course, his anti-pork campaign included complaining about Palin’s earmark. The crowd goes wacko for cutting earmarks. This crowd has lived off of them. USA! USA! Four Legs Good! Two Legs Better!

How many rounds of Jagermeister do you have to do before entering the hall?

The Surge. That beautiful surge.

What you fight for is the real test. It’s about character. I fight for ordinary Americans. The foreclosure crisis. Hate to say it but good move to mention it and the economy. He needed to do it. The crowd is applauding politely as if in sympathy with victims of a faraway disaster.

“Your life is about keeping others from having to endure that box.”

Wow, McCain is declaring himself to be a nonpartisan, not corrupt Republican. Now he’s going into all the bad ideas that made corrupt Republicans corrupt and hyperpartisan.

TAXES. Boooo! Boooo! My tax cuts rock, his suck. My healthcare plan will be good for Theodoric of York, his will create government run health care (which would be good).

Ownership society bunkum coming out. Look dude, it’s been two generations of this horsecrap and nobody’s buying any more.

He’s going to change unemployment insurance? hmmmm.

Obama’s stuck in the past,I’m the future.

Says a viewer: Obama should get foreign policy cred for being from Hawai’i. It’s close to China.

My friends put up with it longer than they should have. I hit the Tivo button and will watch the rest on YouTube.

S: “It’s preaching to a bunch of perverted people who I don’t particularly like.”

More later.

"S is flippant and making comments about Sarah Palin having had 4.5 children..."

If this means what I take it to mean, then this is an incredibly insulting statement - equating the mentally handicapped to less than a person.

The c-v's impression is that S was giving Sarah only half-credit for Trig because of the widespread but unsubstantiated rumors that the boy is actually Bristol's son, not hers.

If your theory is right, then it the comment is merely fooish and not as insulting as I thought.

Since Trig is 4 months old and Bristol is 5 months pregnant I don't see how she can be Trig's mother.

The theory--not that the c-v is paying any attention to it whatsoever--appears to be that Bristol is much less than 5 months along.

Looked at your links - this is the first time I have spent any time on the "issue".

I feel a lot of heat and see no light.

I can't see where the pictures, with or w/o captions, prove anything.

Trig may be Bristol's kid, but I have seen no proof - just rumors and speculation by Palin haters.

So far, I don't have any feelings one way or the other about Palin. However, I do dislike her politics.

As a follow up:

The odds of a 17 year old girl having a child with Down Symdrome are very small (1 in 1250 live births).

For a 44 year old woman the odss are 1 in 40.

It seems much more likely Sarah P is the mother than Bristol.

I think you guys may be missing the real botox story-- check out John McCain's forehead! He has a strange mask-like aspect compared to eight years ago. Botox? Dementia? A putrid blend of both?

But five times more children are born to 17-year-olds than to 44-year-olds. So it's more likely Bristol...but
